Colourist Marie Robinson Opens NY Salon

Hair Colourist Marie Robinson, undisputedly one of the industry's leading lights, has launched her new Salon. For Robinson, the self-titled Salon is the perfect new base from which to meet the needs of her loyal client base who include Uma Thurman, Rachel Weisz, Natalie Portman, Anne Hathaway and Rachel McAdams - to name a few.

Located in NY's Flatiron-District, Robinson worked closely with designer James "Ford" Huntington on the interior to create the stunning 5,000 square foot space. For Robinson, when developing the space, it was all about the waiting room: "I know its a weird little detail" she told Vogue Magazine, "but no matter what the size of the salon, its always too small, everyone ends up sitting on top of each other"....no fear of that here, clients can pass their waiting time in not one but two waiting areas!
